Like many of us, I love tradition.  The familiar can often be a means to reflect upon that which has changed from year to year.  To me it is why we celebrate at this time of the year, call it Christmas, Hanukkah, the Winter Solstice, or whatever this season is to you.  Be merry and bright when you spend time with those you love, those who love you.

Has the Andrew Mack Band become stuck in old ways, heck no! We are always evolving, always looking for ways to connect with you more through our music. After a wonderful and busy spring-summer we took we took a breath, a moment in which to ponder and to create.  I have been busy writing songs and the band has been busy exploring new sounds and compositions for those songs.  When will they be heard you ask?  Soon is all I can say for now.

We have also been working through new cover songs, stretching the boundaries of country rock with other classic rock favourites.  We’ve explored the Rolling Stones, Talking Heads, and The Police, to name a few.  These you will hear sooner I suppose then the new originals.

As we book shows for the new year we hope to return to the familiar places that have always supported us but to also add new events, new clubs, and new festivals to our roster.  Stay with us on our musical journey this coming year.  Lend us your ear, your heart, and most of all your voices, by sharing our music and show listings with all your friends, familiars, and family members.

Here are the shows, so far, for this Winter Solstice:
